Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Malayasia, Pakistan, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Hawaiian Islands; Afrotropical; Palearctic (Hayat, 2006). This species is widely distributed in the subcontinent and more or less cosmopolitan (Graham, 1969; Mayar, 1876; Hayat, 1979; Ayyar, 1927; Dalla torre, 1898; Hayat, alam and Agarwal, 1975 (one page); Suganjayev, 1981).
